Mena Alexa Suvari was born on the 29th of September, 1979. She is a famous American model, fashion designer and actor. Soon after her first job as a model, she began acting in guest roles on 1990's television shows such as Boy Meets World and High Incident. The film debut came in 1997's drama Nowhere. Her roles in American Beauty, for which she received a BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie attracted a lot of interest. In 2000, she appeared alongside her American Pie co star Jason Biggs. She then played the lead role on the film Sugar & Spice (2000). Spun is an independent film from 2002 and the thriller film Trauma (2004) was the two films she has made her most recent appearances. The actress was a part of HBO's drama series Six Feet Under. In 2004 she received an award for an Outstanding Cast member in the Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2008, she was cast in several films which included Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as the adaptation film of The Garden of Eden. Suvari has appeared in many fashion magazines and blogs and blogs, such as Vogue. She is also a Lancome model and appears on the advertisements printed for Lancome Paris Adaptive. She is an active activist and supporter of the African Medical and Research Foundation.
